Hindu Charities For America (HC4A) was conceived for the purpose of providing Indian communities across the United States an opportunity to give back to the communities who have embraced us and given us the chance to prosper. HC4A launched its effort in Austin metro area in 2010 by supporting 430 children. The initial effort drew over 35 volunteers from the Hindu community to bag and distributes school supplies. This year, HC4A will donate school supplies to 15% or 300 or 15% of homeless
The Austin Creative Alliance is funded in part by the City of Austin through the Economic Development Department's Cultural Arts Division and by grants from Texas Commission on the Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts which believes that a great nation deserves great art. The Creative Alliance also receives generous in-kind support from CreateAustin, and Time Warner Cable News. We are also grateful for the ongoing support and participation of our members and patrons.
