The beautiful heartfelt story in a new adaptation set in 19th Century Russia where a budding playwright and a young actress confront their life-long desires in a collision course with his famous mother and her even more famous novelist lover.
The Seagull is a masterpiece of 19th Century theater and defines the themes and structure that Chekhov used in all subsequent plays: the role of the artist, ensemble acting, realistic dialogue and complex characters.
