McKinney Falls State Park is a 744.4-acre park named after Thomas F. McKinney, one of Stephen F. Austin’s first 300 colonists in the early 1920’s. The Park features all sorts of outdoor activities including camping, hiking, mountain biking, road biking, picnicking, fishing, swimming, and observing wildlife.
