Dripping Springs Youth Orchestras

The Arts Alliance of Central Texas has established the Dripping Springs Youth Orchestras (DSYO) to provide training for orchestra strings students. DSYO was established in response to community request for an orchestral program for students from beginning level through advanced level. To address students at different levels of experience and ability, four orchestras were constituted. Students range from age 6 to 18 and are comprised of public-school students, private-school students, and home- schooled students. The DSYO program is an excellent adjunct to the orchestra classes offered in schools and provides opportunity for students taking private lessons to perform with other students. DSYO are funded via donations from individuals and businesses. Per IRS regulations, donations to Arts Alliance of Central Texas (a 501(c)3 non-profit) are fully deductible.
