:::ABOUT VIRGINIA CUMBERBATCH:::
Virginia Cumberbatch is a communications and advocacy strategist in Austin. She is the Director of the University of Texas’ Community Engagement Center (CEC), an organization founded to address the issues around social inequality through community partnerships and activities. As co-founder of Hux Storyhouse, her work gives organizations the creative tools they need to authentically engage with markets across the Black Diaspora. She is the recipient of the 2016 Anti-Defamation League of Austin Social Justice Award for her work in community engagement. Her book, As We Saw It: The Story of Integration at The University of Texas at Austin, will be published in 2018.
