UNLIVED LIVES
MADE IN THE SVT in collaboration with Bulgarian artists The Mighty Mighty Pressure Cooker
April 2nd 2am- 5am, come and go as you please
An encounter of people working in a similar artistic field in different parts of the world. During the process Jenny Larson (Austin), Ida Daniel (Bulgaria), Graham Reynolds (Austin) and Todor Stoyanov (Bulgaria) will explore what we take for granted in life on both sides of the Ocean. The work will examine the differences in the life we live and the life that we haven’t lived (yet or never). The creative team will devise a performance over the course of ten days. Pre-dawn, on the 11th day, the artists will share the work with an audience. The performance on April 2nd takes place from 2am- 5am (come and go as you please) in an attempt to challenge the way we compartmentalizes our lives and to challenge these understandings of the borders we create between work and fun, wake and sleep, lived and unlived lives.
Collaborators: Ida Daniel, Jenny Larson, Todor Stoyanov and Graham Reynolds
