After several seasonal series of the Noir Canon at AFS, we move into part one of the Neo-Noir Canon, in which we examine some of the films that have built upon the stylistic framework of Film Noir.
Twenty-seven years after she co-wrote THE BIG SLEEP for Howard Hawks, Leigh Brackett adapted another Raymond Chandler novel for director Robert Altman. THE LONG GOODBYE is about as different from the earlier film as can be imagined.
