In 1979, the fatal shooting of a white crabber in a Texas fishing village ignites a maelstrom of hostilities against Vietnamese refugee communities along the Gulf Coast.
Join us for a work-in-progress screening of the feature documentary SEADRIFT, to be followed by a moderated discussion with the filmmakers. This is an opportunity to see an early cut of a film and provide valuable feedback to the filmmaking team as the story takes shape in the editing process.
This project is supported in part by the Cultural Arts Division of the City of Austin Economic Development Department.
