Plane Pretend a Film by Sharon Arteaga

Cine Las Americas is proud to announce that Plane Pretend’s World Premiere will take place on Saturday May 4th, 2019 as part of the 22nd Cine Las Americas International Film Festival!!! The film will play in the 2pm Hecho en Tejas block alongside several other Texas-made shorts.

STORY:
An 18-minute short film loosely based on a true story. Fourteen-year-old Pilar and her brothers are ecstatic to take their first flight, but they must hide their excitement, or they risk everything.
