Newlyweds Corie and Paul Bratter begin married life in a tiny, 5th-floor walkup apartment in a Manhattan brownstone.
Corie is a free spirit; Paul is a pragmatic soul. As they adjust to marriage, they must also deal with the quirks of their new apartment; Ethel, her well meaning mother; Victor, their colorful new attic neighbor; and their own personal differences in how they approach life’s challenges.
