Lysts on The Lake 2019

Lysts on the Lake, a world-class competitive jousting event, will be proudly returning to Castleton Village for 2018. The Baron’s Men will be co-hosting this full-contact equestrian event on the shores of Lake Austin April 26-28th.

This year competition will include 3 events:

• la Chasse- which will include a hunt course with multiple obstacles and quarry.
• Melee a’ Cheval- a grand melee using tourney batons where everyone will be competing as an individual.
• Joust a’plaisance- mounted equestrian jousting.

See top ranked jousters test their skill and agility against their peers. Meet the noblest of horses and the most honorable of knights in a family-friendly environment. Feel the lake breeze on your face as you watch accomplished knights joust under majestic Oak and Pecan trees.

On Saturday evening, join The Baron’s Men for A Knight of Shakespeare, starting with a lovely catered dinner in the grotto followed by a Knightly Dessert with the ladies and gentlemen of the Joust. Cap the night off with a walk down memory lane with The Baron’s Men as they celebrate 20 years of theater in Austin.

There will also be additional entertainment, snacks, and commemorative swag throughout the weekend.
