Local Artist Showcase: 1st Thursday Opening Reception

Join us on the First Thursday of each month from 6 to 8 pm as we kick off the rotating monthly Local Artist Showcase. March will feature Dan Lucas of Good Tern Studio.
Meet the artist and enjoy an evening in the Hill Country. Vista Brewing’s farm-to-table dinner menu, award-winning craft brews and local wines are available for purchase.
Vista’s modern ranch style Tasting Room is the perfect backdrop to display local art, which is available for sale all month long.

Good Tern Studio creates moving art to support coastal wildlife. These graceful mobiles, from small to large, sway in the breeze and echo the movement of a bird in flight. Local artist Dan Lucas has focused on creating these colorful mobiles as a way to give back to our wildlife. 100% of profits benefit TERN (Texas Estuarine Resource Network), an Audubon Texas Coastal Program.
Audubon Texas’s Coastal Conservation program is conserving 177 islands along the Texas Coast and sustaining the bird populations that nest and forage on them. Texas has one of the most biodiverse, yet threatened coastlines in the nation.

Stonewall (2020 & 2022), Hive Mind (2021) and Dark Skies (2022) were awarded the national Good Food Award, which takes into account local sourcing of ingredients and sustainable business operations.
