40 years ago in September, punk musician Freddie Krc pulled together 5 of Austin’s best punk bands and recorded them live at the club called Raul’s. It’s the anniversary of that event andd to celebrate 3 of those bands will perform live Sept 21
On September 21, three of the five bands who were recorded in 1979 will appear and perform: The Skunks, The Explosives and the Next with a special solo performance by Larry Seaman of the Standing Waves. Come on out to Sam’s Town Point and enjoy this anniversary event! SouthPop is proud to produce this show and continue our quest to educate the public about Austin music history.
