L’enfant Terrible is a vibrant exploration of the ways fantasies from our childhood inform who we are as adults. There will be original film and photographs, hors d’oeuvres and drinks, as well as interactive installations, disco naps, a kissing booth and absinthe lollipops.
The event will take place Saturday, October 22 at Justine’s Secret House. From 6 to 8pm sponsors are invited to star in a short, Méliès inspired film that will be sent along afterwards as a keepsake. The event will be opened to individual ticket holders from 8 to 11pm. Visit deniseprince.com to see a preview of the 16mm film that is inspiration for the event and will preview at L’enfant Terrible.
This project has been developed with the support of Women & Their Work and grants from the City of Austin’s Cultural Arts Division. Women and Their Work serves as fiscal agent for 501[c](3) status. A limited number of Individual Tickets to the L’enfant Terrible event are available for $125 each. To purchase, please visit deniseprince.com and thank you for your support! Sales of tickets to this one-night-only event will be used to put on a smaller scale event that will be free and open to the public next spring and to fund companion works on film.
