Japanese Summer Dance Festival (Bon Odori & Tanabata Matsuri)

Austin Japanese Minyo Dance Group will present 2019 Bon Odori & Tanabata Matsuri on August 24 (Saturday afternoon 1pm-3pm) at Asian American Resource Center (8402 Cameron Rd.- indoors with A/C). Admission this year is FREE !!!

This group will teach how to dance ‘bon odori’ in a circle move around a stage, and dance together under Japanese songs.

This is a special once a year summer event.

Japanese food (bento, rice ball…) will be sold by Asahi Imports (Japanese store at Burnet Rd.)


FREE Admission this year.

We may need help for setup and clean-up as we don’t have sponsors. This event is FREE for all  public: children, parents, students, seniors…
