Gender Unbound Art Fest — Film Showcase

Prepare for a riveting 3 days of music, film, performance, and visual art. This is no ordinary pride event. This is no ordinary art show. Trans and intersex communities from across Texas and beyond come together to celebrate our visible selves, revel in our creations, and be mesmerized by an artistically cultivated experience. The general public is warmly invited to join the festivities and witness the power of our collective art.

The fourth annual festival will feature a film showcase on Wednesday sponsored by Crane CTS at Ground Floor Theatre followed by a visual art and performance showcase on Saturday and Sunday at Blue Genie Art Bazaar. Gender Portraits will feature 44 visual artists in their gallery and tabling market, 26 performances on stage, and 10+ short films. Performances include the music of Los Angeles based rock sensation Ryan Cassata, the comedy stylings of Austin\’s Carina Magyar, the electronic glittercore of Skaði Þórðardóttir from Iceland, and the dj stylings of Atlanta based, LAdjCOCHINO.
