This edition of Fresh from the Studio features artists Court Lurie, Elvia Perrin & Mars Woodhill. Court Lurie invites the viewer into her studio practice by presenting a video tour of a large scale 7 x 10 foot painting, focusing on the anatomy of abstract painting. Through poetry and prose, she will share about how she has overcome chronic health challenges to create a thriving full time art career. Elvia Perrin will discuss being creative, staying connected and collaborating virtually to expand her art brand during the pandemic. Mars Woodhill will present images of sculptures and mixed media wall art created for her new series ‘Source of the Force’. The work combines natural earthy materials with reflection to foster a deeper connection between man and nature.
