Classical Sound "Double Bass Extravaganza" Georgetown TX

Entitled “Double Bass Extravaganza” to honor the memory of young bass player, Draylen Mason, this exciting program will feature the seldom performed Sextet for violin, two violas, cello, double bass, and piano by Felix Mendelssohn, and the ever popular “Trout” Quintet of Franz Schubert. Featured performers are guest violinist, Stephanie Sant’Ambrogio, pianist, Toby Blumenthal, and principal players of the Austin Symphony Orchestra: Jonathan Rouse double bass, Douglas Harvey-cello, Bruce Williams, and Blake Turner-violas.

Classical Sound is a non-profit 501(c)(3) musical organization dedicated to presenting live, small ensemble concerts featuring world-class musicians, performing both Classical and Pop music at venues throughout Williamson County and Central Texas.
