Butler Pops Series Presents "Swing is the Thing"

Join The Austin Symphony Orchestra in welcoming world-champion swing dancers and guest vocalists Dave Bennett and Julie Jo Hughes to the stage for a cabaret style performance featuring many hits from the 1940s and 50s this June!

The 1940s and the 1950s were the decades of dance! SWING IS THE THING features four world champion swing dancers and two fabulous vocalists. From Duke Ellington and Glenn Miller, to Bill Haley and the Comets and Jerry Lee Lewis, this exciting program highlights the biggest dance hits from the decades of dance that we all know and love. Bring your favorite food dish and enjoy this concert in a cabaret style setting.

Single tickets available starting August 5th, 2021.

Single tickets range from $19 to $100 (plus ticketing fees).

Depending on concert availability, $5 student rush discounted tickets are available to all who have access to a .edu email account. The price is for the entire household.
