Classical chamber music with an Oktoberfest atmosphere.
This September, we’ll clink glasses once again with invoke, featuring the world premiere of Niko Schroeder’s “The Ballad of Young King Gambrinus,” commemorating the European folk hero and unofficial patron saint of beer. In addition, we’ll have refreshing new music presented by UT’s Aldebaran Saxophone Quartet, including Niko Schroeder’s work In Search of a Beer Mug and the premiere of Austin-based composer James Parker’s work, Seven Streams, Seven Wonders.
