Mozart’s brings together bold and creative minds for one night each week, as local pros and enthusiasts try out new material in a beautiful outdoor setting, in front of a supportive and engaging crowd. A free variety show of music & poetry!
Hosted by singer-songwriters Matt MacDonald and resident artist, Chloe Youtsey, Mozart’s After Hours Open Mic is the cafe’s most recent endeavor to support Austin’s local community of musicians and creatives, providing space to polish their craft for an attentive (and caffeinated) audience. In its early weeks, anywhere from 17-35 different acts rotated the stage over the course of 3 hours, making for one of the liveliest variety shows available in Austin.

“After Hours” implies a more mature audience, though children are welcome (but for most of them, this is well past their bedtime!)
