AFS Presents: VORTEX, THE FACE OF MEDUSA

The formal cinema experiments of Antonioni and Resnais meet Athenian mythology in this hyper-obscure Greek experimental art film based on the story of Medusa. The crew of the film itself intrudes into the scenes and there are groundbreaking, provocative examples of sex, nudity, profanity and homosexuality (which is presented as unremarkable and natural). Music by Aphrodite’s Child. Warning: contains nudity and strong sexual content.
