Austin Film Society presents THE RAFT.
In 1973, Mexican anthropologist Santiago Genovés set a group of highly diverse people afloat on a raft for a 101-day sea voyage. The results were not necessarily the ones he expected. This new documentary reunites the surviving volunteers to recount the story and provide their own recollections about the project that came to be known as “The Sex Raft.”
