How far will Oya go to make a mark in the world? A young runner with boundless possibilities, Oya is forced to choose between her ailing mother and her own dreams. This intoxicating movement-infused theatre work charts a young girl’s thrust into womanhood and her subsequent fall into the murky waters of life. The University of Texas at Austin Department of Theatre and Dance presents “In the Red and Brown Water,” October 5-16, 2016 at the Oscar G. Brockett Theatre.
