Jovita’s mixes cowboy songs with fine Mexican food and beautiful murals depicting heroes and heroines of indigenous people. Opened in 1992, Jovita’s was built piece-by-piece, room-by-room. Spotlessly clean, Jovita’s has many attributes that distinguish it not only from the other Mexican restaurants along South First Street, but also from the entire city.
