From its dedication in 1933 until the mid-1970s, Hogg Memorial Auditorium was the primary space for the performing arts in Austin. This beloved part of UT’s forty acres holds the memories of the thousands of students who have walked through its doors. With seating for 1,200, Hogg Auditorium is a charming mid-sized venue that offers a close proximity between the stage and the audience.
