Bastrop State Park is nearly 6,000 acres and the site of the famous "Lose Pines," which is an isolated timbered region of loblolly pine and hardwoods. The Park offers a variety of recreation activities including backpacking, camping, picnicking, canoeing, swimming, golfing, wildlife viewing, and hiking.
