The Waller Creek Shelves
The artist enlisted the help of homeless persons in Austin, paying them to gather trash and clean up Waller Creek for this project. The detritus was then incorporated into the glass vessels, placed on the carved limestone shelves. Medium: Blown glass vessels with found object sculptures on carved limestone and glass shelves.
