Since its first performance in 1981, the University of Texas Performing Arts Center (UTPAC) has evolved into one of the largest and most extraordinary university arts presenters in the country. Powered by a commitment to educate, enlighten and entertain, the PAC has helped establish UT and Austin as a venue for international culture and performing arts. The UT PAC’s performances occur in six venues on campus: • Bass Concert Hall • McCullough Theatre • Bates Recital Hall • Hogg Memorial Auditorium • B. Iden Payne Theatre • Oscar G. Brockett Theatre Performing Arts Center’s Bass Concert Hall is located on the east side of the University of Texas at Austin campus, at the corner of 23rd and Robert Dedman Drive. Parking for PAC events is free and easy on the east side of campus. After 5:45pm, Monday-Friday, when university classes are finished, most of the over 2,500 spaces within walking distance of Bass Concert Hall become vacant (with the exception of "AT ALL TIMES" spaces). Parking is also available at several lots located both in, and around campus. After 5:45pm on weekdays and all day on weekends, parking is free. There is an $8 entrance fee for all UT garages during events.
