Art in Public Places commissioned Alfredo Martinez and Joe Arellano, along with several other artists to create murals for a newly constructed wall on the perimeter of the Holly Street Power Plant. Martinez and Arellano’s work, The Children are the Future, is one of the seven murals created for the wall.
