Naadasudha is a student organization with a vision to showcase and promote Indian Classical Music at The University of Texas Austin and the Austin Community. Our primary goal is educational. Austin has a very vibrant Indian classical music scene with many top artists being featured year around by various organizations. Taking this a step further, we believe there is a need for an organization which is exclusively committed to promoting aspects of Indian classical music initiation and appreciation by learning and doing. Naadasudha envisions serving this purpose through group learning, lecture demonstrations and workshops by qualified artists, hosting unique concert initiatives and musical events and providing opportunities for upcoming talented members of the community. While we hope to bring most of these events to you free of charge, we plan to organize a select number of fund-raising events that will provide us the financial resources to make this possible.
