TXRD Lonestar Rollergirls is a skater-owned and operated sports and entertainment company based in Austin, Texas. TXRD Lonestar Rollergirls promotes friendship and competition between determined, beautiful, unique and, most of all, tough women. Founded in 2001 by She-E-Os Anya Jack, April Herman, Heather Burdick and Nancy Lynn, TXRD has captured the public’s attention and has quickly become a Texas favorite. In 2003, TXRD purchased an original banked roller derby track and has since been providing derby fans with a new twist on the original style of roller derby. In 2005, the league participated in the filming of “Rollergirls,” a 13-episode television show that aired on A&E and chronicled the lives of a few of our skaters, on and off the track.
