Sad Girls Productions began October 18th, 2018. Though the organization is new, our staff is made up of artists who have had collective experience in performing arts and event planning for over five years. The founders met through involvement with the Creative Arts and Theatre organization at The University of Texas at Austin. During our many years in this organization, we have had shared experiences performing, producing, writing, and directing. Among our leadership and performers, we comprise of people of color, womxn/nonbinary folks, and queer individuals. We pride ourselves on providing a space for minority representation on stage and in stories.
