About the Coconuts:

Founded in 2014 on the heels of the award-winning short film The Oceanmaker, Mighty Coconut is an Austin-based animation and visual effects studio specializing in original and branded content. Led by a creative team of industry veterans with a passion for combining stunning visuals and well-crafted narratives, the studio has brought to life countless film and television properties, interactive content, location-specific installations, and local and national commercials.

Animation/Live Action VFX: While original and branded content is our bread and butter, Mighty Coconut is also Austin’s premiere studio for animation and live-action visual effects. Our team of artists has more than 60 years of combined experience working on world-renowned projects of all shapes and sizes. We like to keep our team and our skills sharp, which means we are always on the lookout for new challenges that flex our technical and creative chops.

Original Content: Recently, the company added a film, television, and interactive arm to develop and produce projects and original IP. The slate includes a feature version of The Oceanmaker, a hybrid family film called Koalaroo, an animated TV series, and a multi-platform video game to be released in 2017.
