Professional Janitorial Service and Samsung Austin Semiconductor present Food for Thought, a gourmet tasting event benefiting Communities In Schools, featuring 20 of Austin’s hottest restaurants, including Uchi, Emmer & Rye, Fixe, Boiler Nine, Le Politique and many more.

Join 700 of Austin’s most dynamic community leaders on September 26 at the acclaimed Moody Theater for a lively evening of exquisite local cuisine, festive live music, delicious libations and irresistible live auction packages. This is a night to celebrate the success of Communities In Schools students and raise financial support for critical dropout prevention services.

Communities In Schools places full-time, dedicated social workers on school campuses with high concentrations of students living in poverty. By providing counseling, academic assistance, school supplies, food, positive role models, and more, CIS is there to help students overcome obstacles and attend school ready to learn. Food For Thought 2016 raised over $570,000 to support this important work.
