Tres Veces Tiembla el Infierno is a fictional documentary, resulting from the investigation around the ritual of la muerteada, in the community of San Agunstín Etla (Oaxaca), which occurs each 1st of November.
“Dios te salve Dolorosa
Madre de nuestros consuelos
Líbranos señora nuestra
De las penas del Infierno.
Por ese puñal sangriento
Que tienes atravesado
No permitas tu señora
Que mi alma muera en pecado.
Las voces de este alabado
Son flores que Dios envía
Tres veces tiembla el infierno
Con el nombre de María
Y esto es por todos los siglos
Y de los siglos amen.”
