Anthropos Arts is hosting their 18th Annual Student Concert, Real World Music Showcase, a culmination event in which all of their students will perform music from Bosnia, Cuba, Colombia, and Nigeria, in addition to American Jazz standards, and the music of David Bowie, and Prince.

For the past 18 years, Anthropos Arts, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, has provided at-risk middle and high school students with free music lessons, workshops and performance opportunities. Employing professional, local musicians and world-class, touring performers, Anthropos Arts contributes both to the cultural landscape of Austin and to the overall educational success of our students. For the last five years, Anthropos students have had a 100% graduation rate and a staggering 100% college enrollment rate.
