The Rippingtons are a GRAMMY nominated American contemporary jazz band celebrating its 30th anniversary. They have created the life soundtrack for hundreds of thousands of contemporary jazz fans worldwide. The Rippingtons were formed, and have been led ever since, by guitarist and keyboardist Russ Freeman.
Not a band to rest on their laurels, the band released their 17th album, The Fountain of Youth in 2014. The recording features a new collection of guitar driven songs that will continue to thrill the audience of one of jazz’s most compelling bands. The music will not only please a fan base that has been culled over their decades-long career, but will also entice a new crowd of fan base of guitar hero fans all over the world.
