Austin Chinese Concert has worked hard to prepare for another great concert this year! This year we have more beautiful songs to share with our audience; the selection ranges from choral pieces from contemporary Taiwanese composers to ballads and folk songs. We will sing in Mandarin Chinese, Taiwanese, and English. The theme of the concert is “Sound of Music, Love of Homeland.” We will use music to voice our love for Formosa, the island of Taiwan. This the first of the series we will be performing this year. In June, Austin Chinese Choir will perform in Taiwan with three other choral groups. It’s an exciting year for Austin Chinese Choir; we hope you can come share our excitement and enjoy the fruit of our hard work!
