The Dragon Boat Festival & Race is an annual Austin event. This is a kick-off event for Asian Pacific American Heritage Month in May.  There will be Dragon Boat Races and different Asian performing arts of Taiko Drums, Lion Dance, music, and different Asian dances for the entire family to enjoy. There will be traditional Asian food to purchase in these two days. The Sunday event is also the 3rd Annual Dumpling Festival. Sticky rice wrapped in bamboo leaves is the traditional dumpling of the Dragon Boat Festival. There will be a Moonwalk, Kids Zone, arts and crafts, and informational booths at the site. Please bring a banket, your family, neighbors, and friends and come join us for this festive celebration from the East.
