In World of Joy, Six Suites for Cello Solo by J. S. Bach, CMFW Artistic Director Francesco Mastromatteo, Violincello, performs these extraordinary works, as Mastromatteo puts it, “in a journey which erases gravity, frees desires, creates a future, and nurtures hope in life, in a World of Joy, which transfigures sorrow into perfect music, eternal in its beauty.” The program is divided into two parts: the first (Bach Cello Suites I, II, III, & IV) takes place on Friday, April 21, at 7 p.m., and the second (Bach Cello Suites V & VI) on Saturday, April 22, at 4 p.m., both at:
