The Cohen New Works Festival presents When New Orleans Becomes a Brown Sea

A story revolving around Terrance and Judy, a black man and a white woman who are stuck on a roof in a flooded neighborhood of New Orleans immediately after Hurricane Katrina. In a town filled with ghosts of past injustices, they must find a way to escape the roof and find relief.

When New Orleans Becomes A Brown Sea is presented as part of the Cohen New Works Festival. The Festival, produced by The University of Texas at Austin Department of Theatre and Dance and sponsored by Broadway Bank, premieres 38 new student-made projects April 10-14, 2017.
