Si Se Puede is inspired by the life of Mexican-American farmworkers in the United States during the late 1960s/early 1970s. The piece features movement and discussion based on the lives of the first and second generation Mexican-Americans of the past, present, and future. Si Se Puede (Yes We Can) is presented as part of the Cohen New Works Festival. The Festival, produced by The University of Texas at Austin Department of Theatre and Dance and sponsored by Broadway Bank, premieres 38 new student-made projects April 10-14, 2017.
