The Cohen New Works Festival presents Matrilineal

Presented by The University of Texas at Austin Department of Theatre and Dance at The University of Texas at Austin WIN 2.138

How far does the apple fall from the tree? In the age of fourth-wave feminism and Hillary Clinton, how do the women of today align with the women that came before them? Matrilineal explores lineage and the role it plays in the dissemination of knowledge through mother-daughter relationships. Matrilineal is presented as part of the Cohen New Works Festival. The Festival, produced by The University of Texas at Austin Department of Theatre and Dance and sponsored by Broadway Bank, premieres 38 new student-made projects April 10-14, 2017.
