Join Austin recording artist Leti Garza (formerly Leticia Rodriguez Garza) as she brings her Latin-infused world music sounds to the Spider House Ballroom on Saturday, March 18th at 7:30 pm. Experience Leti and her signature style of global fusion. Her music transports us to destinations far abroad and breaks down barriers, real and imagined.

Leti is thrilled to be taking part in this Sister City Showcase that brings artists and musicians from Providence, RI to ATX to launch an annual Sister City Initiative. She will be appearing alongside hometown heavy-hitters such as hip hop heroes Riders Against the Storm (RAS) (Midnight), tearing it up live with their intergalactic yet “in your face” flow and style. Austin’s ten-piece Afrobeat all-stars Hard Proof (4pm) will make everyone dance. Honorary Austinite and Israeli guitar hero Yonatan Gat (10pm, NY) will improvise the light fantastic as revelers circle around for “one time only” transcendental moments. (Note: Brian Chase of Yeah Yeah Yeahs will be on drums!) The modern, smooth R&B vocal stylings of Austin’s Mobley (3pm) will make you swoon indefinitely.  

The Providence Cultural Equity Initiative (PVD), in partnership with King Saint Germain (ATX) and Events Unlimited (ATX), is thrilled to launch the First Annual ATXXPVD – A Sister City Party and unofficial showcase at Spider House Ballroom, Austin, TX, Saturday March 18, 2017, 1pm-2am.  ATXXPVD is a party with a purpose. Free entry and all ages welcome.
