NEW CLASS!

The U.S. immigration system places many hurdles in front of U.S. companies looking to hire international professionals, as well as foreign national investors and entrepreneurs. This seminar will discuss the immigration options available for U.S. businesses looking to grow their companies with international talent, and examine the issues foreign entrepreneurs face in obtaining visas to establish and work their startups in the U.S. We will provide tips for handling some of the issues that are unique to startup organizations, founders, and their employees.

Learning Objectives: (1) What are the qualifications if I am a U.S. business and I want to hire and sponsor and international professional? (2) What are the criteria for qualifying for a U.S. work visa if I am a foreign national and I want to run or invest in my own U.S. startup? (3) If I’m currently working in the U.S. for a company on an employer-sponsored visa, can I venture out and create my own startup?
