This graceful sculpture by Austinite Jennifer Chenoweth will be leaving the Elisabet Ney grounds during the week of February 23. We are extremely indebted to Jennifer for helping the Ney get our outdoor sculpture program going. We also have to thank Austin Art in Public Places Program for helping make this possible in the first place. Dance of the Cosmos was always a temporary installation at the Ney however, and now it has to move to its permanent home at Patterson Park alongside Airport Blvd. Come visit, take photos–selfies even–with it, and meet Jennifer so we can all bid the piece adieu. If you can’t make this event, bear in mind that you have about two weeks left to see it here.
