“Flora AR” A Free Augmented Reality App

Austin, TX:  augzoo LLC, an Austin-based software developer and publisher specializing in location-based Augmented Reality, announces plans to release “Flora AR” an Augmented Reality application for Android and iOS.   “Flora AR” encourages users to get outside and explore their world by “planting” virtual flowers with personal messages to share with other users.

Another unique feature of “Flora AR” is its digital “bluebonnets” designed by Texan native Marc Montoya.  Special interactive bluebonnet fields can be found at the South Path of the Texas Capitol, just outside the George Washington Carver Museum and Cultural Center and patches of bluebonnets can be found at the location of each artwork in Austin commissioned by the City’s Art in Public Places Program.

“Flora AR” is currently available in the Play Story being followed by an iOS version.  The mid-February launch coincides in time for Valentines Day and for National Floral Design Day, February 28th, 2017.
