The Women in Jazz Association, Inc. and the City of Austin Parks and Recreation Department will host the ATX Teen Summit 2017 on Monday, February 20, 2016 at the George Washington Carver Museum and Cultural Center, 1165 Angelina Street, Austin, TX from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Registration begins at 8:00 am. The Summit is free to the public. The purpose of the ATX Youth Summit 2016 project is to provide an artistic learning experience for Austin youth between the ages of 8 and 18 by having them participate in the following activities:
-The SaulPaul Experience
-Voices from Around the World
-Dancing with Ashe Arts Austin
-Let’s Make a Film with the Capital City Black Film Festival
-Totally Cool, Totally Art
-Making a Brighter Future with Vision Boards
-Singers’ Performance Workshop
