KOOP Radio 91.7 FM will celebrate 22 years of community radio with a Birthday Blowout at The Spider House Ballroom, 2906 Fruth St., on Saturday, December 17 at 7:30 p.m. Every day, KOOP Radio brings you great programming of all types, and with being a part of Austin pop culture history, KOOP Radio is bringing part of that music history to their KOOP BLOWOUT featuring three legends of Austin music.
 

Legendary rocking blues artists Omar and the Howlers with will kick of the birthday celebrations with their soulful music followed by Pressure, a historic reggae band from the Liberty Lunch days who recently reunited for select shows, including this one. Closing out the evening in pure KOOP eclectic fashion is the one and only King of TexMex and Nuevo Wavo, Joe King Carrasco with his top notch band, Los Side FX. Your favorite KOOP DJs will be there in addition to door prizes and everything else that will make this party a blowout!
